2016 Travel Bucket List

The beginning of 2016 also marks the beginning of this blog.  Both 2014 and 2015 were travel filled years for myself, and 2016 should be no different.  Whether it is domestic or abroad travel is something that I love.  And while I have a few trips planned already for this year I have a sneaking suspicion that some spur of the moment adventures will happen.  These 5 destinations are at the top of my must see travel list. (In no particular order)

1.) Iceland

I was in Iceland for a total of 2 hours during 2015.  It was on a layover between New York and London.  I may have only seen the in flight advertisements, the amazing gift shop filled with fuzzy hats and and stuffed trolls, and the incredibly overpriced airport pizza but I was sold.  I would love to travel to Iceland to experience the breathtaking scenery, the Northern lights and of course...see some trolls.

2.)Seattle, Washington

I love dreary foggy weather, I love cliffs that drop into the unforgiving Pacific Ocean and I sure do love coffee.  Seattle just sounds like my kind of city and I would love the chance to travel not only in Washington but also all along the Pacific Northwest.

3.) Portsmouth, New Hampshire

I'm a sucker for quaint seaside towns that have amazing shops and restaurants. I'm told that this small university town is fairly bustling and that they have an amazing stationary store and soup restaurant!

4.)London, England

My favorite City in the entire world.  I have been to London twice.  Once when I studied and lived there during 2014, and again for one day during 2015.  I need London back in my life.I also need the Pret chicken and avocado sandwich.

5.) Thailand

I have never felt a huge pull towards Asia for some reason.  But all that changed when I started watching travel vlogs centered around Thailand.  Watching those videos left me wanting more. The people, the places, and the food are all things that I need to experience.
